Self-Care, and mental and emotional health have always been my favorite topics to discuss but in 2017 after ending an emotionally toxic relationship and friendships, they became the main topics that helped me rediscover myself and how I wanted to move forward in the future. 

In September of 2017, I was seeking something new in life and journaling was my primary way of helping me rediscover myself. I started Cassie’s Cure off as a self-reflection blog. I was at a place in my life where I wanted to know and understand myself better without judgment. I wanted to learn how to be more comfortable in my own skin and to be able to look at my mistakes and insecurities and learn how to love and nurture them. It was through these blogs that I began to figure out what self-love, self-care, and self-confidence truly looked and felt like for me. 

As time went on, I noticed that I wasn't the only one who needed this space and that's when in 2019 I decided to take this self-reflection blog and turn it into a full-blown self-care business for women like you and me.

In order to choose yourself first and love yourself better, you have to know who you are outside of whom society has taught you to be. I aim to teach women how to find out who they really are and who they aspire to be.

There's healing in vulnerability and there's healing in safe spaces that allow you to vulnerable with the good, the bad, and the ugly. I've made it my goal to be that safe space for me and you

In order to live a peaceful lifestyle, you have to continuously invite peace around you. Through my work, I make it a goal to create environments that allow us to talk, learn, and live peacefully.

my journey

I self-published my own Poetry book called “The Peel Back” with over 20 poems highlighting thoughts and opinions I always struggled to share with friends and family over time. The feedback that I got back from this book inspired me to start creating more wellness events and things for me and my friends to do together.

April 2019

I was in graduate school and people started reaching out to me letting me know how my blog post were so relatable and how the advice I was offering started helping them get through rough seasons. So I decided to make blogging a regular part of my for a little while.

March 2018

I felt the urge to make the blog public. I started viewing the blog as a way to share lessons I’ve learned from what I’d see as unfortunate experiences in my own life. I was ready to share with the world how I felt, what I learned, and the role I realized I played in my own pain.

January 2018

Created a private wellness blog after ending an emotionally draining relationship. I needed a safe space to write down all of my thoughts, especially the embarrassing ones. 

September 2017

My friends started telling me I should turn my blogs and personal passions into a business. I’ve always loved putting small events together for my friends and they kept telling me “other women would love to experience this, you are a healer”. But I was a little scared to really step out of my comfort zone and make things happen for folks outside of my friend group.

September 2019

The pandemic came and I was sitting at home and I finally decided that I’d take the big step. That I would finally turn my self-care & wellness lifestyle into something that others could enjoy as well. I finally decided to turn my wellness blog into a business. I hiring my very first business coach to map out what I wanted to truly offer within Cassie’s Cure.


January 2020

 I hosted my first wellness retreat called Pieces of Peace and tickets sold out. This was the first weekend experience where I was able to get 20 women to come together for a weekend of games, candle making, soap making, and deep self reflection.

August 2020

COURAGE: Self-Care Bootcamp was born! For 6 weeks, I met with 10 phenomenal individuals and guided them through unpacking emotional expereinces, improving their self-confidence, and developing their own self-care routines + game plans.

November 2020

I hosted my second retreat and that’s when I knew I needed to keep them coming. These retreats were weekend get aways for us women who sometimes need a break but also want to dive more into their self-love journey!

January 2021

Graduated from a Self-Love Coaching certification program. I knew this program would really help me teach women what it truly means to practice self-love and self-care and how to make it apart of their daily routines.

July 2021

Cassie’s Cure: Self-Care & Wellness Shop was birthed! Now folks are able to have 1:1 coaching, attend events and workshops, or shop all in the name of Self-Care & Wellness.

January 2022

Here I am teaching and sharing all things Self-Love & Self-Care. I am continuously finding new ways to help women love themselves better and choose themselves first while building a self-care community to support each and every one of them!
